one turkey, a fishtail, and a septic snake

My, what a delicious looking turkey. I wonder where you could get one....maybe www.pastureperfectpoultry.org ??

Let's see how the drumstick holds up to San's tastetest.

"Mmm, now that's a good drummie."

After turkey festivities, Auntie San and Annabelle cajole about,

Louis buzzes the bus,

and Jason experiences modern living with help from the dishwasher. Here he shows us his soon-to-be patented "fish-tail" plate loading schemata.

Louis and Phoebe relax old style in front of the TV. Poor pup's eyesight isn't what it used to be....looks like she thinks the TV is on the floor.

All's well that ends well. Jason earns his son-in-law stripes by helping his Pop-in-law with a few septic system issues. Maybe that turkey was TOO good??

little daddy

Louis admires his bunnies, riding snugly in his makeshift sling. This little boy is one good mini-Daddy to his plush buddies!

While big Daddy washes dishes in his sink, the lil' Daddy washes his own sinkful of trouble.

The happy little clam washes a couple of corks.

misc.

Sunny gal,

and sunny pal.

The less teeth you have, the more banana you can fit in your mouth.

Big bro puffs, while little sis takes a finger frosting dip in Mama's b-day cake.

"Here, you take this cake. More frosting instead, please."

toothy troubles

Gray November days don't warrant many pictures. Especially with the troubles this little miss has been causing lately:

Here she is, looking coy and unsuspecting. Meanwhile, in her off-camera life, she scampers up chairs and tables, dances around and eventually tumbles down. She's also been sprouting 4 teeth and 1 molar this week, making for even more woes and whines.

Sore teeth won't keep her away from her favorite book, and favorite reader, Daddy.

And here's the big brother, fathering his newest favorite pal: Fox. Here fox is "taking a bath." Good thing there isn't water involved in this crate-bath.

happy couples

Mike D (Jason's bro) and Alida got married this weekend in the Cities. Here's a few pics of some lovely couples -- oops, once again forgot to get a pic of the bride and groom. Too busy chasing kids!
"Psst, can I borrow that bouquet for a minute?"

"At last, alone with my floral arrangement."

"If we smile real nice, maybe we can be the bridesmaids?"

Oh fer cute, Mama and (tired) baby.

Happy at last roaming free in the hallway, away from the confines of the highchair and parents.

leaves, kids

Fall weekend at the cabin in Lake Nebagamon with the Watsons...
Annabelle tries on cousin Lucy's spooky Halloween specs.

Annabelle tells cousin William all about the trouble they will soon get into. "Yeah, see that toy you're holding? Well, when you get out of that seat and start walking we could throw it in toilet. Or we could cover it in peanut butter, roll it in dirt, and then try to eat it."

In the meantime, they remain cordial and share toys. Button that pajama suit up Will!

Cousin Lucy takes a break from swinging into the monster leaf pile.

Log rolling down the hill into the other monster leaf pile.

Annabelle tells Uncle Eric to get to work and make another pile! (This is right before she took a giant roll down the hill into those woods -- oops!)

Baby in pile.

Louis rakes everything into a pile, including his sis.

costume-less bliss

Sorry, no cute pics of kids in goofy halloween costumes with chocolate beards. Louis wouldn't get within 5 feet of his dragon costume and Annabelle was so crabby on Halloween -- she kept pulling her ladybug helmet off. Alas, they were much happier in their regular gear, doing what they do best....

"raking" in the garden,
and buzzing down the road on trusty big wheel.
