sneezes and wheezes
Winter ushers many sniffles and sneezes to our house. Between sopping runny noses, coughing, and trying to play in the snow,
as always, Louis and his trains are inseparable.
The three wise men struggle to stand up and save baby Jesus from being toted away by Louis' excavator.
Cool guy Louis talks on the phone to his buddy, Jonas, in LaCrosse.
Kisses (and germs) are exchanged under the tree. So churns the cycle of sibling love/hate and the fine seasonal line between being sick and well....

December 19 was also a big day for news breaking...

where can i sit?
The gals bundle up for a walk in the chilly snowy morning. Note the little chair up on the table in the background. Our once innocent and immobile baby has turned into a mega climber these days....tables, chairs, toilets, you name it -- vertical is her game. Driving her frazzled parents to put all the chairs away and leaving her poor brother to wander around saying "where can I sit?"

one turkey, a fishtail, and a septic snake
My, what a delicious looking turkey. I wonder where you could get one....maybe www.pastureperfectpoultry.org ??
Let's see how the drumstick holds up to San's tastetest.
"Mmm, now that's a good drummie."

toothy troubles
Gray November days don't warrant many pictures. Especially with the troubles this little miss has been causing lately:

happy couples
Mike D (Jason's bro) and Alida got married this weekend in the Cities. Here's a few pics of some lovely couples -- oops, once again forgot to get a pic of the bride and groom. Too busy chasing kids!

leaves, kids
Fall weekend at the cabin in Lake Nebagamon with the Watsons...
Annabelle tries on cousin Lucy's spooky Halloween specs.
Annabelle tells cousin William all about the trouble they will soon get into. "Yeah, see that toy you're holding? Well, when you get out of that seat and start walking we could throw it in toilet. Or we could cover it in peanut butter, roll it in dirt, and then try to eat it."
In the meantime, they remain cordial and share toys. Button that pajama suit up Will!
Cousin Lucy takes a break from swinging into the monster leaf pile.
Log rolling down the hill into the other monster leaf pile.
Annabelle tells Uncle Eric to get to work and make another pile! (This is right before she took a giant roll down the hill into those woods -- oops!)
Baby in pile.
