catch-up

Family from afar came to visit in July, 

allowing us all to soak up this little one for a few weeks! 

Lots of catching up on the cousin front,

and spending days together.

We shared many rays of sun,

rounds of ice cream, 

 ridiculous photo attempts,

 and many funny baby conversations.

We miss you already!

Happy July 4th, cousin style at the cabin.

 Three-legged races,

hula hoop contests, 

 face paints,

and pontoon parades.

It was a wild weekend, Statue of Liberty and all!!

Summer has settled in, in its own busy and chaotic way. Not so many pictures these days, except for our recent trip to Sylvania Wilderness....

 1 by kayak, 

4 by canoe, and 1 baby at home with grandparents.

 Lots of beach time, 

 woodsy exploring,

 teamwork, 

 heavy lifting, 

 and tree hugging.

A good respite for all.
